These things I am writing to you concerning false prophets who seduce you into doubt and disbelief. For there have arisen those who falsely claim that they are anointed of God, and false prophets who prophesy their lies, and show great signs and wonders with their magical trickery and complex doctrines to such a great extent, that if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.
We have an Anointing from the Holy One Himself. We have been given the mind of the Anointing and we know everything from Him. The Messiah, who you have received of God, who lives in you, teaches you and you don’t need any other person or preacher to teach you: but as the same Anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, even as Messiah has taught you, you have your being in Him. I haven’t written to you here because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and when you know it, no lie can escape being seen.
Whoever denies this Son that comes from God, the same does not have the Father: whoever can see the Son sees the Father also. And this is the promise that He has promised us, even a Life that never ends. And now, little children, live in Him; that, when He appears in you for your present work, you may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him whenever He appears.
God anointed Yeshua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Now He which establishes us with you in Messiah, and has anointed us also, is God, as it was with Yeshua, who said: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives in their self-slavery, and recovering of sight to the spiritually blind, to set at liberty them that are burdened by sin.
And Yeshua prayed, This is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Messiah Yeshua, whom You sent. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Messiah: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. This gospel of Messiah was given to the Jews first, and then to everyone else.
Therefore we are buried with Messiah by baptism into his death: And just as Messiah was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also walk in newness of life as we are born again from the dead.
So, my beloved offspring of God, you also are dead to your own rules and the laws of your own human minds, by the death and resurrection of Messiah; that you should be married to Messiah instead of married to your own thoughts and feelings, even to the one who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth God’s own fruit.
When the Spirit of Messiah dwells in you, then you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, he is not His. And when Messiah is in us, we know that the body, which is our flesh, is useless for the achievement of righteousness; but the Spirit is life because of His righteousness. And as children of Messiah, we are then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Messiah; and when we suffer a cross with Him, we are also glorified together with Him. So when we put on the new garment of the Lord Messiah Yeshua, we make no provision for our flesh, to fulfill its worldly desires.
To us who are called, both Jews and non-Jews, Messiah the power of God, and the wisdom of God is in us. For who has known the mind of God Himself, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Messiah. Now we are the body of Messiah, and members of that body in particular.
We, being many, are one body in Messiah, and every one of us are members one of another with our own particular gifts. The testimony of Messiah was confirmed in you. He who established us with you in Messiah, and anointed us with Him, is God.
In Adam everyone died, their minds were blinded: and until this day there still remains an earthly veil in the reading of the scriptures. Even so, in Messiah the veil is removed and everything comes alive from the dead. Therefore when any person is in Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; and you see all things are now new.
We are convinced and know very well that we are not justified by good behavior or by our own right ideas, but by the faith of Messiah Yeshua in us. We have believed in Messiah Yeshua, that we might be justified by the faith of Messiah only, and not by trying to obey our religious laws, our own made-up rules, our right personal or political positions: for by all of these futile efforts no flesh is ever justified.
I am dead with Messiah: even so, I live because Messiah is the One who is alive in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by His faith within me, the faith of the Son of God Himself, who loved me, and gave Himself to me, in place of my self.
God's promise to Abraham was, "in your 'child' shall all the nations of the earth be blessed." God didn't say 'children,' as in ancestral lineage but He said 'child,' which is Messiah. And we that belong to Messiah have crucified our natural flesh with its affections and its worldly desires and we all come to the unity of the divine faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God to perfection, to the measure of the mature stature of the fulness of Messiah.
When the divine mind appears in us, which also appeared in Messiah Yeshua, God makes known what the richness is of the glory of this mystery in His people; which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory: Whenever Messiah Who is our life appears, we also appear with Him from glory to glory.
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, I will not be ashamed in anything, but with all boldness as always, Messiah will be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. Michael
