9-9-2023 A Great Gulf

No one can believe two opposing faiths or follow two opposing principles at the same time, for either he will hate the one principle, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one principle, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and at the same time serve the devil of your possessions and your ideas and your love of the world. This law of cause and effect cannot be broken.

The religious conservatives also, who are covetous and love their own rightness, have heard all these things: and they mock the thought as unrealistic. These statements of continual loyalty to one side or the other and ceasing from sin forever are ridiculous to them. They name that “extremism” and the doctrine of a cult. They say, “Everyone sins sometimes. No one is perfect.”

Messiah said to those who came to listen to Him: You are the ones who justify yourselves and boast of your good works on your web sites and call attention to yourselves when talking to people, but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly regarded in the natural world is always an abomination in the sight of God. And, that “strange act” that God performs is an abomination to you and your world. Those who highly regard themselves before their neighbors may very well be no better than the adulterer, the whores and the drunks, in heaven’s view.

The scriptures have existed since before this time and the kingdom of Messiah is preached in every congregation, and every man tries to go into it in some way without actually dying to themselves and being converted in their hearts and minds to the principles of it. They try to enter in by the force of their doctrines or their strong statements of religious faith or by being a member of some true church. But the priests of these temples do not go into Messiah's kingdom themselves, neither do they let anyone else go in. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law of cause and effect to fail. You always do that which you love. And one always blesses that which he loves.

There was a certain rich man, who was clothed in the most expensive clothing, and ate his meals at the finest restaurants every day. And there was a certain beggar named “God has helped,” who was homeless outside the rich man's office, full of sores and sickness, and desiring to be fed with a few of the riches of the rich man which fell from the rich man's provision into public assistance. Besides that, the lowlife people came and comforted the beggar in his sores and in his misery while lost and without hope and while he was out on the street with the worst crowd.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died to himself and was converted to God, and was carried by the angels into Messiah’s promised Seed of God’s own faith. The rich man also died in his world and lost hope of salvation or success, and was buried in the world of his worldly effects and the cares of this life. And in his hell he lifted up his eyes, being tormented in his unfulfilling circumstances and loneliness, and he saw the promised Seed of God's own faith far away, and the former beggar whom “God has helped," now in Messiah's blessed embrace because the needy man had received God’s Gift and the rich man saw his joy in the promise fulfilled and his praise of the Holy One.

And he cried and said, Messiah, have mercy on me, and send to me the one whom “God has helped,” that he may dip the tip of his finger in the water of Life, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in these worldly flames of unfulfillment. Let him come and pray for me and encourage me in my miseries. He might give me the magic sayings, beads or prayers to pray, so that I might be blessed in my misery.

But Messiah said: Professed believer, remember that you in your lifetime received all your own good things, gaining all of the worldly pleasures that you desired. You went and “got a life” and another god. And likewise, the one whom “God has helped” received his many hardships and a host of evil things against him. He was assaulted and scorned but now he is comforted in the Seed of faith he received from God as a Gift which has now matured, and you are tormented in the effects of your disbelief which have now matured.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from here to you cannot; neither can those who are on your side where you are, pass to us. If one speaks to you of the “Gift” or the Life of God or Messiah, you cannot hear it or even desire it. And Messiah’s side cannot go into the love of the world where you dwell. We cannot go into the other’s kingdom nor convince those in the other's kingdom to come into ours. This is impossible to do.

Then the rich man said, I pray you therefore, Messiah, that you would send someone with Life to my family. I have five brothers nearing my miserable state and someone may be able to testify to them and give them a Bible study, or give them his testimony, lest they also come into this place of torment that I find myself in.

Messiah said to him, They have the Bible and their many churches and the prophets; let them hear them. They don’t even obey and love the things that they know very well. They do not even live up to the light that they profess to believe. They compromise themselves at every turn in order to fulfill the desires of their flesh and then convince themselves that that isn't what they're really doing.

And he said: No, Messiah, I disagree, for if one went to them having been converted from the dead and had received the Life of God, they will surely repent and believe him for they will see his changed state. They will see the light on his face.

And Messiah answered him and said: If they don't heed their own basic principles but always live unto themselves and their personal comforts, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from their dead state by the Life of God and went to help them be converted. Those who have chosen the dark side for themselves cannot possibly be caused to understand or desire the actual kingdom that comes with Messiah.

If one makes a covenant in a bonding relationship with Messiah, and breaks that covenant because of the love of the world, he commits adultery. And if one bonds himself to that one who has broken his covenants with Messiah, he commits adultery. If one serves Messiah but then goes to serve the world, that one is an adulterer, a harlot and a drunk in the eyes of the messengers.

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he who is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he who is holy, let him be holy still. You may now receive that which you have created, for when Messiah comes, he gives everyone the results of the works of their true heart. Michael
